Achieving Balance with Ayurveda: A 3-Day Intensive Course

Practiced for over 5,000 years, and rooted in the ancient knowledge of Vedic India, Ayurveda is a finely tuned, holistic system designed to help people live long, healthy, and well balanced lives. Taken from the Sanskrit words ayus, meaning lifespan, and veda, meaning knowledge, Ayurveda teaches how to prevent illness and promote healing, through proper diet and lifestyle, connecting with consciousness, and harmonizing body and mind. In this intensive workshop, Chef Richard LaMarita, an Ayurvedic student and practitioner of 30 years, will teach you all about the theoretical principles and practical applications of this science of life.

Each day will include lecture and hands-on cooking sessions.

Students will learn:

How to identify dosha and dosha disorders
How to strengthen the digestive system
